You can always make a mod for it make pointy elf ears or big noses for dwarfs by the way did they say they will release a mod kit.
Yeah, only aesthetically though, I'm hoping for a little more immersion than simply looking different. If they make more races I hope that they it will actually matter what race you choose, for example certain characters could be racist to dwarves and not offer you help, work, or even idle chit-chat. However they could be dwarven strongholds that only let other dwarves in. I just want some more customization options that actually mean something.

Well I don't think they are adding races but maybe since the npc have their own goals and reactive a.i they can comment on your short stature calling you a dwarf maybe npcs actually talk about dwarfs but they are just short people. But I would like the race you made up about a human who has more affinity to thaumaturgy.

On topic of races again. Lizard people that can only wear head/wrist/feet armor due to their body shape and cloth shirts, but run faster, have decent scale armor and can use tail as a weapon in combat. Also only wisest lonely reasonably humans would attemp to speak to you, others would either flee or attack at sight, so you are forced to just fight, rob and discover worlds secrets on your own base dc on scrolls and eardropped conversations or invest in stealth and speak to people from shadows covered in a robe. Are such differences interesting enough to jusify a separate race? Im not suggesting there should be such an alien race, just theoretically, purely for discussion.

P.S.: rasism could be interesting feature, if say a land you explore was always at war with southern empire choosing bkack skin would have people attack you unless you cover everything in armor and hide behind a helmet and choosing somewhere in between would make people treat you with no respect as a half breed. Then again there are too many people out there who would take this chance to rant about a racist game and review it with hatred. At least pale skin could make some simple people avoid you as you look unhealthy and could spread diseases.

Interesting that you chose to use black skin being hated as an example. I think we have enough racist negative shit in the real world, I think without any gameplay need other than to add realistic racism in a game is unnecessary. It's a game for fun and enjoyment , not to relive real world bull crap.

I know, I realised halfway there its not a good idea, but I just went there in attempt to adapt hide-your-identity gameplay without lizard race. And choosing black was simplest example, didnt want to think something up just not to use dark skin.

Im more interested in discussing how alien races could be made interesting to play, without them being just same humanoids.

I've been playing a lot, and I mean A LOT of RPGs, and the one thing that almost all of them miss that I absolutely want is one-handed combat. I mean without anything in the other hand.

This perticular game has everything to do with being realistic : if so having a lightweight weapon and nothing else to have a free hand is contributing a lot to be much more agile, striking faster than with two hands, dodging attacks but all that surely needs skill. I always played my games with that style and I WANT IT SO BAD to be in this game. Please hear me guys on this. pleease. :D

The game has the option to only use a one handed weapon, if that's what you're asking. And it does affect your movement if you have a shield equipped.

I'm not really sure what you're asking, though. :(

It would be very cool if there were a thaumaturgic power to telekinetically pick up objects and throw them as projectiles at enemies. Seeing as there are so many seemingly harmless map objects strewn about, this would be very entertaining to watch. For variants, one fashion could be to pick singular objects and throw them at high speed, or a barrage of all the objects in a given area at once. This might also be used for throwing weapons at people for high damage.

Think this.

Or pick up enemies off the ground with force thaumaturgic power and strangle them in the air, oh and black hoods and black helmets.

I was fighting an undead and I bapped him good with my weapon and he bashed his head against a table and knocked over some pots. I would like it if it causes some damage. Perhaps the pot breaks and causes damage. Or the force of getting knocked into the table caused damage.

Sounds like you had a triple A action sequence. I hope you can grab someone and hit them against a wall or a table and that should cause damage.

Some suggestions:

Suggestion: Automatically toggle combat when your character is hit by an enemy.
Why: It would only make sense that the character gets into combat stance if he is hit by an enemy. Who would stand there helpless while taking hit?

Suggestion: Carry unused shield on the character's back.
Why: Historically shield were slung over the shoulder when not in combat or in order to wield a weapon with two hands.

Suggestion: Switch between the torch and a sheated weapon.
Why: Sometimes when exploring, an enemy engages the character offguard and navigating through the UI is a chore and it takes a while. There should be a reasonable and quicker way to switch between the torch and a sheated weapon.

Suggestion: Burn/fire damage should be applied on the torch
Why: Realistically the torch should inflict burn/fire damage. It would be even better if you could set a lightly clothed enemy on fire after a few hits.

Suggestion: Push/bash attack
Why: Quite often when fighting the enemy gets too close to the character and it feels as if both are trying to hug or something. It would be great to have a push/bash attack when it happens to push the enemy backward in that kind of situation.

Suggestion: A heavy blow to the head should result in a concussion
Why: The perception could become blurred, displaced and doubled. Hearing loss and or ringing noise could be heard. Recovery length would depend on the force of the blow.

These two are especially great ideas.

Pushing the enemy back is good too, but with the physics system I can see it being quite difficult to achieve.

Having just played through to the end of Story Mode, I have this to say: Key ring, please! Having to organize a dozen loose keys and try one at a time when attempting to unlock something is really annoying.

Agreed 100%. A simple "draw last used weapon" key would be great, especially if it automatically dropped the torch rather than stashing it in the inventory. I get that the point of the way the inventory works is that rummaging around in it takes time, you can't pause the world and instantly change all your equipment, but really, dropping a torch and drawing a sword is a matter of opening your hand and closing it again, it can realistically be done in a second, two seconds tops. IRL you don't need to press a button to open the inventory, click the torch, drag it out of the window, let go of the button, click it again because the game decided you were trying to drop it outside of your reach radius and rather than drop it at the edge of the radius it didn't drop it at all, drag the torch out of the inventory again, then finally equip a sword (if you're not dead already, that is).
