SOLVED [Game Breaking] GPU not recognized

so I've been having this issue where my GPU, an AMD Radeon 275x, is not recognized by the game. This means the game ends up relying on the intel hd graphics processor which does not work for the lighting and other functions on the game often causing errors. I haven't much investigated this myself as I'm not entirely sure what is going on.

Solved:

This sounds like AMD Switchable Graphics. You should be able to do something like configure it to use your GPU for Exanima in you AMD control panel under power management. Unfortunately AMD added this feature without deeming it useful for application developers to specify they want to use the GPU.

Oh my -- this thread has gone unnoticed for quite a while. It didn't show up as the "latest" thread since it was created, so now you should probably get an answer soon. Either way, if you don't get some answer within a day, then I'd take it to discord or even the steam forums since they're more heavily patrolled.

well I checked the radeon settings menu and it seems that Exanima is not detected by it at all...

in game menu states its using my intel HD 530, and then the video memory is unknown

I believe you have to manually add it and create a profile for it.
