not that I expect this to be in the game, but I just had to share the thought..
after seeing the knight in armor fighting against the troll.
I was thinking of the arcade game Joust.
I just couldn't help imagine the knight, with a lance, riding an ostrich.
against other knights on ostriches.
with real physics.
maybe it's just me.

although, if you end up supporting mounts..
maybe there's a land where the knights joust on ostriches..

Right off the back, Ninja midget highwire sheep jousting!

And back ontot rack I can picture jousting being an actual event and being able to partisipate would be wonderful. It is a very hard art as controlling where the lance goes in third person while the horse bounces you up and down is very hard. The biggest thing is that scoring is involved.
10 points for dehorsing
5 points each if the tips of the lances touch (Only combinable)
3 points for breaking your lance on the opponent
1 point for touching

This will also deal with fighting on horse back and I'm sure at some point you'll have a lance or a spear and go racing toward an opponent who is also on a horse.

There could also be other horse backed events like Sword at Quentain and head of the tartar.

I say do it but don't make a silly mini game about it and have it as a real thing.

I think jousting would be a fantastic feature, as long as they support mounts. If you don't have horses in the base game than you mind as well not shove in horses for jousting.
